The full terms follow below.
1. Who I am
Classes are offered by Jacinta Kahle, registered as Kahle Jacinta, sole proprietor (ditta individuale) of To.gether Community Yoga.
- Address: Via Alessandria 4, 20144 Milano (MI), Italy
- Partita IVA: 13510420014
- Email: [email protected]
2. Booking a class
- You book through the schedule on togethercommunityyoga.com. You can book as a guest or with an account.
- Your place is confirmed when you see the confirmation page and receive my confirmation email. That email is my agreement with you.
- Each booking is for one person and one class. Places are limited, and once a class is full it can no longer be booked.
- Please give accurate details: I need them to contact you about the class and to issue your invoice.
- Classes are taught in English.
3. Prices and payment
Every class is pay-what-you-can. All options book the same place in the same class, and nobody else knows what you chose.
- Pay it Forward: €15, which also helps cover someone who needs a lower rate
- Suggested Contribution: €10
- Reduced Rate: €5, no questions asked
- Another Amount: any amount you choose, including €0
Prices are in euros and are the full amount you pay.
"Donation-based" means you choose what you pay. It is a payment for a class, not a charitable donation: every payment is invoiced, and it is not tax-deductible.
Paying online. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your place is reserved even if you stop before paying; you can then pay at the studio.
Paying in cash. If you choose €0 online, you can bring your contribution in cash to the class.
Payment confirmation and invoice. When you pay, I email you a payment confirmation, which is not a tax document. Your invoice (fattura elettronica) is issued within 12 days of payment and sent to the Agenzia delle Entrate. Every invoice needs your name and address, and your codice fiscale if you have an Italian one.
4. Cancelling your booking
Up to 4 hours before the class starts: cancel and get a full refund, minus the card processing fee Stripe charged on your payment, which Stripe does not return to me. Cash payments are refunded in full. Email [email protected] with your name and the class. I refund online payments to the card you used, normally within 5 working days; the time it takes to reach your account depends on your bank.
Less than 4 hours before, or if you don't come: no refund, and the payment cannot be moved to another class.
If you booked at €0 to pay in cash, nothing is owed if you can't come, but please still tell me so someone else can have your place. If your payment has already been invoiced when I refund it, I issue a credit note (nota di credito) for the refund.
No 14-day right of withdrawal. Classes, in person and online, are leisure services booked for a specific date, so the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply (Italian Consumer Code, art. 59(1)(n)). The cancellation rules above apply instead.
5. If I change or cancel a class
- If I cancel a class, for any reason (bad weather for an outdoor class, illness, or too few bookings), I will email you as early as I can and refund you in full.
- If I move a class to a different time or place, I will email you. If the new arrangement doesn't work for you, you can cancel for a full refund, whatever the 4-hour rule says.
A refund of what you paid is the remedy for a cancelled class; I don't cover other costs, such as travel. This does not limit any right you have under consumer law.
6. Health, safety and responsibility
Yoga is physical activity. To keep everyone safe:
- Check with a doctor first if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, or have a medical condition that physical activity could affect.
- Tell your teacher about any injury or condition in person before class. Sharing it is always your choice.
- Practise within your limits. Every pose has variations, and resting is always allowed. Stop and tell the teacher if anything hurts.
- For outdoor classes, dress for the weather and bring water and your own mat.
I take reasonable care to keep classes and spaces safe, and I am responsible for harm caused by my own fault or negligence, as Italian law provides. I am not responsible for injuries that come from an undisclosed condition or from ignoring the teacher's guidance, or for personal belongings lost or damaged at the class location, unless that is my fault.
7. Online classes and conduct
Online classes. Your joining link is in your confirmation email once your booking is paid, or confirmed at €0. Please don't share it. You are responsible for practicing in a safe space with enough room, and for your own internet connection. If a class can't go ahead because of a problem on my side, I will refund you or offer another class.
Classes are for adults.
Respect. My classes are a welcoming space for everyone. I may ask anyone who is abusive, discriminatory or puts others at risk to leave, without a refund, and may decline their future bookings.
Photos. I never photograph or film you in class without asking you first and receiving your consent.
8. Complaints, law and contact
Complaints. You can file a complaint by emailing [email protected]. I will reply within 7 days.
Applicable law. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you can bring any dispute before the court where you live, and nothing in these terms removes the protections of the Italian Consumer Code or the law of the EU country where you live.
Changes to these terms. I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The version in force when you booked applies to that booking.
